All staff who join the Federation have a planned induction to ensure that your career gets off to the best possible start. We provide a range of CPD programmes and provide bespoke and recognised training and further opportunities for professional development for all staff. We believe in providing the opportunity for all members of our community to grow and learn together and demonstrate to our children that learning is a lifelong process.
As a teacher at the Federation, you will be a member of a team of teachers who work collaboratively to plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum. We provide additional time for staff to collaborate and engage in personal and professional learning beyond the required PPA time. Governors invest a significant part of the budget in ensuring staff have access to high quality CPD from recognised experts in their field ensuring that our teachers are the best that they can be.
As a teaching assistant or other member of support staff you will have access to further training and support relevant to your role, needs and experience. We have supported a number of our teaching assistants in training to become teachers or support staff to develop an expertise in an area of interest and need.
