Week commencing 23rd Sept 2019

English 

This week we have been writing sentences about ourselves as children in comparison to adults that we know; such as our teacher, mummies and daddies. We have also explored different emotions to create our own sentences on what makes us happy. 

Maths

We have been busy this week! We have been looking at counting backwards, finding one more and one less of a given number and even writing our numbers up to 100. We have also had a go at coming up with reasons for our answers to word problems.

Topic 

Neil Armstrong has been our explorer of the week. We looked at America's quest to put the first man on the moon and how a monkey made it up there first! What an adventure Neil Armstrong went on winning the space race - It was one small step for man but one giant leap for man kind!
