Week commencing 18th Nov 2019

We had so much fun on our trip to Clay Farm Library exploring all different types of books and learning how to use the library correctly. The children were also told about a really fun reading challenge happening over Christmas, which would be a brilliant way to do lots of fantastic reading. 

English

We used our amazing trip to write a recount to help us remember all the fun we had. We used the 5 Ws to make sure we included all the relevant information. We also focused on using time connectives to make sure our recounts were written in chronological order. 

Maths

A lot more work on subtraction was going on in maths this week. We have been looking at how to complete normal and missing number calculation using a number line. Alongside this, we have been practising our number bonds to 10 as well as identifying odd and even numbers.
