Puppets!

We had so much fun performing in our puppet shows this week. It was amazing to see all of our beautiful puppets come together and put on four spectacular performances. Please keep everything crossed that we managed to beat the World Record and we will keep you posted!

English

We worked really hard writing up our own stories about different animals going out into the world to find a new home, based on our class story 'A Place to Call Home.' We had stories about Guinea Pigs, cheeky Monkeys and even Sharks which were so much fun to write and share. 

Maths

This week was our final week on Place Value. We continued to look at tens and one within different numbers using Dienes to help us. We also had a go at adding the tens and ones to create different numbers in preparation for our new unit of work, Addition and Subtraction starting after half term.
