Week Commencing 9th March

In English, the children have been busy researching, planning and writing their own non-chronological report about an animal of their choice.

In Maths, we have started learning to tell the time. We have learned o'clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to.  Ask your child if they can teach you how to tell time!!

In Science, we have explored how Arctic animals keep warm. The children conducted a science experiment where they created jackets out of different materials to keep their cups warm. The children also tested a 'blubber' glove to explore how animals with blubber stay warm.

All of year two also participated in some fun fitness for sports relief day. See if your child can show you some moves!!
