Puppet Extravaganza Progress

A Year 6 report on puppet making

'Year 4 are making cockatoos. They are ecstatic and happy because it is fun and creative. Their behaviour was amazing and it is clear that they have been concentrating.'

'All of the children who made puppets today were fascinated by finding out how to create them and bring them to life. They think that the show will be 'amazing', 'fantastic' and 'brilliant'. Several pupils are inspired to put on a phenomenal performance and get this show on the road!'

'Downing class in year 6 were extremely excited to make their puppets today. They listened well and put in a lot of hard work. Year 6 are especially happy that they had the first opportunity to read aloud the story of the Rainbow Serpent. We can't wait to see all of the finished puppets and the mosaic dolphins!'

This is Sundari's finished Dingo.

Today was rehearsal day! We all went to the hall at different times of the day to practise for our section of the puppet show. It's looking brilliant!

What a success! Here are our cheeky crocs having a look out at the audience.
