The end of a very busy term!

We have finally made it to the end of the Autumn term!  As you can see, there is no rest for the class - we have been using our coordinate knowledge to solve Santa-related puzzles and have been writing some winter themed stories.  Look at Daniel's writing below; can you work out which festive advert from a few years ago we were writing about?

This has been an extremely busy term with many highlights: our trips to Duxford and the Wellcome Genome Campus; our talk by Ruth Barnett; our learning about World War II; the pantomime this week and all the excellent writing we have produced.  Every child in the class has made excellent progress and all the hard work, in Maths in particular, is really paying off!

I hope everyone has a restful break, a Merry Christmas and that all the children return in 2019 ready to go once again!
