Today we had a wonderful trip to Corpus Christ College. We learnt a lot about what University life was like and had a look around the different parts of Corpus Christi College. We got to sit in  a lecture theatre and visit the chapel, main hall and library. We even got to touch a book that was 900 years old.

Here are some things we learnt:

- Corpus Christi means 'the body of Christ.'

- The Old Court at the college was built in 1359.

- The New Court was built in 1827 (this is just before the Victorian era). Three features of the New Court and what they represent are: Hall (flesh), Chapel (Soul) and Library (Mind).
