Week Commencing 24th Feb 2020

This week we have started our new topic which is the Gruffalo. We have read the Gruffalo story.

In our role play we have a puppet theatre and we have been retelling the Gruffalo story using puppets. We have been writing theatre tickets in the writing area. 

In the transient art area we have been making pictures of the Gruffalo  characters.

In phonics we have learnt the 'ie' code as in tie and 'igh' as in high.

We celebrated pancake day by doing pancake tasting.The children used their 5 senses to describe the pancakes.

In maths we are learning to take away.Our number of the week is 17.
