Week commencing 13th Jan 2020

This week has been another busy week in Clare class. This week we have been learning the story  'Mr Gumpy's Outing'. We read the story and then followed the story map to retell  the story using actions. You could ask your child to retell the story  to you. We have also drawn story maps and written a sentence about an animal from 'Mr Gumpy's Outing'. In phonics we have learnt the codes 'b' for bat and 'j' for jug. In Maths our number of the week is 12. We have been learning 1 more and 1 less than a number. In forest school this week we painted some sticks and decorated them and we also read 'The Stick man'.
