Update: Monday 11th May
Dear Year 3,
We are very excited to be transferring your home learning to Google Classroom and we hope that you are too!
Google Classroom is a great way for us to reunite virtually and for you to share your wonderful achievements from your home learning. Your teachers are busy learning too about the exciting possibilities and ways we can use our new online classrooms. You teacher may share videos, presentations or even post topics that we can discuss as a whole class!
To access your Google Classroom you will need your class code...
Hughes Hall Class: 3dfoypv
Gonville and Caius Class: assmr2w
Each week, we will set new home learning tasks, just as we have been. Please complete as much as you can. We will provide you with feedback on your learning and share news with you under the ‘Stream’ tab. Your learning will be set under the ‘Classwork’ tab.
As you are well aware, our learning environments have changed recently. Luckily, Google Classroom can allow us to regain some normality. We have put together some rules so that we can make the most of it. As you would follow certain rules in school, we ask that you do the same when using Google Classroom:
Aim to complete what you can from the variety of home learning activities set each week.
We will ask you to submit two tasks for feedback per week. We shall make these clear to you and set a due date.
Thought for the Week…There will be a weekly question or topic for you to discuss and contribute to with your classmates.
This is a space to share learning and an opportunity to learn from each other. Google Classrooms is not a social media platform. Only post information and comments relating to the learning tasks you have been set.
Please be kind and supportive of each other.
We really look forward to hearing from you all and celebrating all of the incredible effort you have put into your home learning!
Best wishes to you all,
Mrs Wills and Mrs Chamberlain
