Welcome to Year 3. 

We have had a great start to our year and have lots of exciting things planned.

This year our topics will be:

Autumn Term - Awesome Ancient Britain: Stone Age to Iron Age

Spring Term -  Egyptians

Summer Term - Active Planet:  Volcanoes and Earthquakes

.       You can find more information in the Learning Newsletters and Curriculum Information tab to the right, including the national curriculum expectations for Year 3.

·         Our PE days are Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Children should wear full PE kit (not school uniform on these days).  We will be outside in all weathers.

·         General reminders:

Homework will be sent home on Monday and should be completed by the following Monday.  This will be set on Google Classroom and does not need to be printed:

Please send your child with a named and filled water bottle every day.

Please ensure that all uniforms are clearly labelled and that your child is only wearing lace-up shoes if they can tie them independently.

We have a selection of library books in class that your child may borrow to read at home.  As we are currently unable to visit the school library if your child has any specific book requests please get them to ask me and I will see if I can find them.  

Reading Records should be brought to school everyday.
