Week commencing 7th Oct 2019

This week has been the build up to our World Record Attempt with puppets due to be achieved, fingers crossed, on 18th October 2019.

Our puppet making session was exhilarating.  Each child has made a woodpecker for part of the story.

Here is an example of a lovely set of instructions.  They have been written in a lively and inventive manner, using: adverbials, com, mas, brackets, paragraphs and colons.

In maths, we are working on addition and subtraction.  To broaden the children's thinking we include questions where the thinking needs to be explained.   (Here is a lovely example of a child showing they have listened in the input session where examples of adding 9, 90 or 900  were discussed.  Which was the easiest way to add this?)
