Week commencing 30th Sept 2019
This week has seen the Year 6s working with Myth Creation Puppets to create some quite extraordinary puppets. Eagles, chickens. cranes, peacocks and roadrunners were all put together from newspaper, cardboard and glue! Many of our Year 6s have also helped to produce some of the larger creations that will play a part in our Guinness World Record attempt later on in the term!
We have also learned and written about Dunkirk, begun our warning stories in English, found out about different types of blood vessel in Science and completed our addition and subtraction work in Maths, including solving a range of word problems as Ruby-May's work below shows.
Don't forget that next week, on Tuesday, we will be going to Duxford for the day. Don't forget a packed lunch and wet weather coat, although fingers crossed for a dry day!
