Week commencing 16th Sept 2019
This week, I have seen some superb learning in Year 6! In English, we have discussed how to communicate emotion to the reader and have tried to produce some writing showing the feelings of a sad, lonely evacuee. Look at how Yassin and Ettolle have used the weather and feelings to show these emotions.
In maths, we have learned how to multiply and divide by powers of 10 - the class put in a phenomenal effort and some children went from total confusion to telling me how 'easy' it was in the space of one lesson!
Finally, in our topic lessons, we have continued to think about the build up to World War II and developed our chronologies of the conflict.
