Week 6 - Commencing 11th May
We all hope you are doing well at home and enjoying your home learning! This week, your parents should receive an email with your Google passwords that we have used in school for the chromebooks. We will be setting work on Google Classrooms so that you can send us back completed work that we have set. For now, we will post the home learning on both the school website and Google Classrooms. This week's learning is as below:
In English, we are going to be writing a setting description for a setting. In your reading books, try to find a good setting description. Choose 5 key words or phrases from the description, then draw and annotate your own version of what you imagine it to be like. If you can not find one then there is a selection of setting description in the attachments below.
There is also a comprehension task on the Victorians for you to complete.
In addition, please make sure you are completing your reading record 5x a week (These can include the reading tasks we set!)
Click on the links which will take you through lessons. There is a helpful video for each lesson. Remember to have a piece of paper handy! When you have finished a section, click on next activity at the bottom right of the screen.
Take a picture or scan a copy of your work from Wednesday and send it to your teacher on Google Classroom so they can see your hard work and give you some feedback.
Wednesday - remember to send a copy of your work on Google Classroom!
Please keep practising your time tables on Times Table Rockstars or using the Ultimate times table test worksheet below!
There is no Education City work this week.
There are 5 links to videos below - one for each day. By the end of the week, you will have written, edited and published your own setting description. Please make sure you send your published work to us on Google Classrooms. The teachers would like to see your work and give you some feedback.
Instructions for Google classrooms will come with the log ins via email.
Please continue with the Victorian work from the previous week, available here.
Stay safe, look after your family and we hope to see you all soon!
