Progress and Achievement Awards 2020-2021

W/E 27th November

This week's progress award goes to Yusuf who wrote an excellent piece of writing based on our portal story. He experimented with collective nouns and made inanimate objects come to life.

Zen has earnt this week’s achievement certificate. Zen has been working very hard in maths and can now add,divide, subtract and multiply fractions!

W/E 20th November

This week's progress award goes to Evie who used all the targets in her 'warm write' this week. What a fantastic news report, Evie, you should be very proud :)

Mason has been awarded this week's achievement certificate  for his improved attitude to learning and for challenging himself, particularly in Maths and English.

W/E 14th November

This week's progress award goes to Miron who is engaging well in our Guided Reading sessions. You are making great progress, Miron. Well done!

W/E 7th November

This week's progress award goes to Audrey who made a fantastic start to her independent write based on the heart and circulatory system. She demonstrated that she had been listening very carefully during our Science topic last term.

Matthew has earnt this week’s achievement certificate. After lots of practising, Matthew has now learnt how to use the ‘Bus Stop Method’ to solve division problems. Well done Matthew, your hard work has paid off!

Happy half term everyone. I hope you have a restful break - you have earnt it!

This week's progress award goes to Cheyenne who has worked really hard to consolidate her understanding of long multiplication. 

This week's achievement award goes to Krishna. Krishna wrote a fantastic warning story using all of thh elements from our toolkit :)

W/E 16th October

This week's progress award goes to Max who produced a fantatsic start to his warning ssotry this week. Max, your work was presented beautifully and you made sure to use elements from the toolkit.

This week's achievement award goes to Janik who stimulated an interesting discussion in this week's History. He wrote a balanced argument to argue that Dunkirk was both a success and a failure, giving evidence to back up his arguments. Well done Janik!

 

 

W/E 9th October

This week's progress award goes to Hanna who has continue to challenge herself in all areas of the curriculum. She wrote a lovely warning story in this week's cold write.

This week's achievement award goes to Oscar. Oscar always tries his hardest. He has done a superb job of his home learning while self isolating and has come back to school with a mature and enthusiastic attitude. He has worked diligently to catch up in his mock SATS this week. Well done Oscar!

W/E 2nd October

This week's progress award goes to Elijah who has written a wonderful letter in his warm write using lots of the tools from our toolkit.

This week's achievement award goes to Keita. Keita produced a wonderful timeline of WWII in History this week. 

W/E 25th September

This week's progress award goes to Tobi who has written a wonderful letter in role as an evacuee. Tobi, your letter was historically accurate and emotive. Well done.

This week's achievement award goes to Bella. During this week's PE lesson, Bella demonstrated a mature and dedicated attitude. She went the extra mile to push herself and work on the quality of her movements.

W/E 14th September

This week's progress award goes to Affiyah who wrote a fantastic piece of descriptive writing putting herself in the shoes of an evacuee. 

This week's achievement award goes to Tyra. Tyra was new to our school this week and has settled in really well. She has demonstrated that she puts 100% effort into all that she does. 

W/C 7th September

This week's progress award goes to Matthew who wrote a wonderful poem about the Blitz.

This week's achievement award goes to Marika. Marika has had a fantastic first week at our school. We are thrilled to have her in our class and it feels like she's always been with us!
