A Message From the Head of School

I am delighted to welcome you to Trumpington Meadows Primary School website. We are a large, thriving nursery and primary school at the heart of the community, which continues to grow and develop. We are part of a Federation with our sister school Fawcett, which is also situated in Trumpington, just down the road.

Trumpington Meadows has grown considerably since 2014, when it first opened, and has transformed from a building site to a beautiful school; a journey which I have been lucky enough to be part of right from the beginning. We have a diverse catchment area and many families moving into the local area in and around Cambridge, who are all very welcome. The diverse, multi-cultural, growing community is something that we are very proud to be part of.

At the Federation we strongly believe that everyone can make a difference and a positive contribution to our society. Education in a nursery and primary school is about igniting a passion and appetite for learning to encourage children to be curious and respectful about the world around them. Our motto “Growing and Learning Together” is something inspired by our local community, where we are aiming for all children to grow and develop into fine young people.

For me as Head of School, it is a privilege working at the Federation with our talented staff on a daily basis to ensure that our curriculum is exciting, challenging and preparing our children for later life. Please do come and see what makes Trumpington Meadows special, you are assured of a warm welcome. I look forward to working with you and your children to ensure they continue to thrive, and be the best they can be.
