Spring 2 - Week 6 - 1st April

It's the final week of the Spring term and we have a stimulating and varied week planned. As well as our Year 5 trip to the Institute of Astronomy we will also be watching the Year 3/4 play dress rehearsal and supporting the Year 6 charity fundraiser on Thursday.

In Maths, we will be continuing expanding our knowledge of angles and in English, writing news editorials. In our exploration of the space race, we will finally be reaching the moon - "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."

Astra Zeneca will be making their final visit to support the children in analysing the results of their experiments - not only have the children learned a great deal about working scientifically but this has also been valuable in developing their team work skills.

I hope that you have a restful break and look forward to seeing the children again in the Summer term. Miss. Day

Here is some of the work that the children did for their projects homework this half-term.
