In class we are writing suspense stories. Have a read of a section of Abigail's suspense story written below:

My second paragraph of my suspense story!

After I limped slowly through the doors, all of a sudden, they slammed shut. Now I could not go back. Then I simply started shaking. Before I had time to think, I found myself limping slowly, steadily and shakingly towards the shed. Once I got to the shed I smelt a revoltingly, smelly smell. I figured that it was coming from the shed as well and that that was all too much to handle. So my curiosity got the better of me and I touched the door handle and tried to open the door but it was locked. Then, since I was very bored, I started tapping the door handle.

Very suddenly, a brick came out from next to the door. I saw a key inside the brick. Then I stopped and thought, “Should I? Shouldn't I?” Finally, I took the key and gently, but quickly, put the rusty old broken down key in to the hole. It fitted like a glove. Then I moved the key left, then right. Eventually, it worked and pushed the door ajar. Slowly, it opened all the way and I saw…
