Such a Busy Term!

We have nearly reached the end of a crazy half term and another year!

It has been an amazing half term for all of us in Year 6!  Firstly, we put on a huge production of the Lion King.  Everyone performed and sang with real confidence and hopefully, everyone in the audience really enjoyed it! Special mention for Miss Ford who produced the stunning costumes and Mr Taylor and Mrs Chamberlain for their set.  Surely, one of TM's best ever productions?

The week after, we headed off to Hilltop for the residential: three days of climbing, archery, tree top trail, agility courses, assault courses, swimming, zip lines and (most importantly...) ice cream!  Well done to the whole class - you behaved beautifully, challenged yourselves, supported one another and did yourselves proud.

We have also had a visit from Mark Wells, author of the 'Hidden Tales' book set in Cambridge and some of our children were awarded 'Golden Tickets' which allowed them access to a special launch event.   Also, we have been creating dioramas, baked biscuits as part of our mini-enterprise project and begun our preparations to say goodbye in our Leavers' Assembly (2pm on Tuesday - all are welcome!)

Finally, congratulations to all of Year 6 on their efforts this year.  You have all made fantastic progress and should be very proud of yourselves.  Aim high next year and be the best you can be.  You all have bright futures ahead of you.
