The annual celebration of all things reading and books was a whole-day event at Trumpington Meadows this year.    In the morning, we used the Cat in the Hat to either create our own versions - one child's version of 'The Moose and a Goose' telling the tale of two friends trying to find a fun game to play was fantastic - or to create a game called 'Fun-in-a-Box'.   We then did some reading activities in our houses before sharing some time reading books with the Year 1 children!
