Week of 11th February 2019
It's the last week of school before half-term. At the start of this week children brought in their projects homework for this half-term. We all enjoyed listening to the children share and present the work that they had done at home.
As you will have seen in the classroom window, our planets are really starting to take shape. We have been mixing our own colours in and adding paint in layers to create texture and effect.
Our research projects on some of the geographical elements of different countries are also coming along really well. The children will have a chance to present these in front of their classmates later this week and receive feedback on their work.
In Maths, we will be revising everything that we have learnt about fractions and decimals. And, in English, we will be putting into practice everything that we have learnt about writing gripping adventure stories. Don't forget to look back here later this week for photos of our work.
I hope that you all have a restful time over half-term and I look forward to seeing you all again on 25th February and later that week, at parents' meetings.
