week commencing 2nd Mar 2020

English

We have been looking at expanding our vocabulary whilst exploring how to create characters for a mystery story. We practised showing the reader what a character is like in a shared write: Dr Hate was extremely charming. However, he had a menacing laugh and a hard, cold stare. He had a hollow, deep, dark voice which filled the room. His eyebrows were arched and his nose was hooked. He always wore a tall, dark hat made from rattlesnake skin. Whenever he walked into a room, he stomped loudly.

Maths

We have been learning about different types of lines e.g. perpendicular, parallel, vertical and horizontal, different types of angles and properties of 2D shapes.
