Week commencing 9th Sept 2019

English - This week we have been learning and retelling the story of The Papaya that Spoke. The children have been completing short burst writing for different sections of the story. 

Maths - This week we have been focusing our attention on number and place value. We spent time plotting number lines in missing spaces and tried to reason as to why a certain number should go there. 

Topic -This half term, we are looking at a number of authors and one of those is Roald Dahl. We spent a whole day completing activities around his book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We had a lot of fun creating our own sweets and chocolates! We even designed the packaging!
