Week commencing 3rd Feb 2020

Maths:  This week, we have learnt about the properties and characteristics of quadrilaterals, as well as lines of symmetry. We’ve also applied our learning into some problem solving activities, working with our learning partner to complete the questions. Have a look at the Venn diagram below into which we sorted some quadrilaterals. Can you explain to an adult at home why the shapes have been placed in those positions? Can you name any of the quadrilaterals? Could you think of some other shapes to add?

English:  We have been innovating our story map to come up with our own Warning Story ideas this week. We’ve also been practising our skills and using our suspense toolkit in our writing. Take a look at some great suspense writing below:
