Literacy

We have been practising letter writing, understanding the format of an informal and formal letter, with support of the address written for us. It has been very interesting. We started with a letter from the Big Bad Wolf who aplogised to the Three Little Pigs for trying to blow his house down!

Maths

We have started to make equal groups of numbers , using counters, to practise how to multiply. So 3 groups of 2 equal 3x2 = 6.

Art

We have been developing our blending of primary colours by mixing only two of the primary colours: red and yellow, red and blue or yellow and blue. Then we increased the tones by adding either white or black.
