Week commencing 18th Nov 2019

Maths:  This week we've been working on multiplying a number by 1 and 0 as well as dividing a number by itself and 1. Can you remember the rules we came up with in class? We’ve also been focusing on the 6 times table. Can you fill the blanks to complete fact family below?

English:  Everyone has been working very hard in our English lessons this week. By the end of the week, the children were ready to complete their warm write portal stories. The children used our Elf Road text map to help them to write independently and challenged themselves to tick off as many targets in the writer's toolkit as possible. Well done to everyone for their hard work!

Topic:  Look at these fabulous necklaces and bracelets! The painting of our Greek Evil Eye beads required a lot of focus and concentration as it was such detailed work, but it was worth it as the end result is great. They are so bright and colourful! We are looking forward to wearing these on our Ancient Greek day next week. 😃🏛️
